What Information We Gather

We automatically track and collect the following information when you visit our Site: (i) your Internet Protocol ("IP") address ("Traffic Data"). Traffic Data is helpful for marketing purposes and for improving your experience on the Site.

In order for you to register your products via the Site, we require you to provide us with information that personally identifies you. We receive and store any information you enter anywhere on the Site. For example, we may ask you to complete a registration form that asks for contact information (such as name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address). This information is collectively referred to as "Personal Information." If you communicate with us by e-mail, or otherwise complete online forms, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Personal Information. You may choose not to provide us with optional information, but then you might not be able to take full advantage of many of the features on the Company's Site.
Additionally, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie information and the page you request.

How We Use the Information We Gather

We may use your Personal Information for such purposes as responding to your requests, improving our services, communicating with you, and informing you of special offers and discounts. From time to time, we may also use your Personal Information to send you free samples of new products or product brands different from those you usually order. We may also share your Personal Information as described below. Except as provided herein, we will not release your Personal Information to a third party unless you have granted us permission to do so.
Personal Information may be used for trend analysis, pattern detection, and site administration. In addition, Armitron may collect Internet Protocol ("IP") addresses for the purposes of system administration.

How We Use “Cookies”

A "cookie" is a piece of data stored on your hard drive containing information about you. Armitron, like many other companies, uses cookies to collect information. Cookies can also enable us to learn your interests and enhance your experience on our Site. Cookies also help Armitron to see which areas are popular and which are not popular and allow Armitron to make improvements and updates to the Site based on such data as total number of visitors and pages viewed. This information is most easily tracked with cookies.
We do not store any Personal Information or financial information about you using cookies.
Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but allow you to instruct your browser to prevent the use of cookies (The Help portion of the toolbar on most Web browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether). If you disable this feature, you may still use our Site, but certain aspects of the experience with Armitron may be impacted.

The website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Sharing of Personal Information

We work closely with third parties to bring you our services. In that regard, we may share information when another company is involved so that company can perform its functions. Examples include sending postal mail and e-mail. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

Additional Communications

We may direct additional communications, including e-mail and SMS, to registered customers that we deem may be of interest to them. To be removed from future Armitron e-mail and/or SMS campaigns ("opt out" request) you can notify us at OptOut@armitron.com.

Our Site may contain links to other Web sites. We try to make sure that these links are to other, helpful web sites, but you should be aware that when you click on links and/or ad banners that take you to third-party Web sites, you will be subject to the third parties' privacy policies, not ours. While we support the protection of privacy on the Internet, we are not responsible for the actions and privacy policies of third parties and other Web sites.
